IUOE Local 877 supports all levels of education for our members and their families. That’s why we’re proud to offer the following scholarship opportunities to further the careers of the hard-working Local 877 community.
Local 877 Scholarship
The Local 877 annual scholarship application is open now! Children or grandchildren of current Local 877 members are all eligible to apply for this scholarship for (4) $1,500 winners and (1) $3,000 winner.

Applications are due on Friday, July 17, 2026, so don’t delay!
Go to https://birdease.com/golf877/aboutus to view eligibility and apply. Generally an applicant must:
- Be the child or grandchild of a current Local 877 member in good standing
- Be enrolled in or accepted into an accredited post-high school education institution
- File an application https://birdease.com/golf877/aboutus
- Submit an official copy of his or her most recent school transcript (copies or printouts from the school’s website will not be accepted)
- Submit a 500-word essay, see application.
