We’re proud to offer the following courses to our membership in 2023. Registration is now open, and the enrollment deadline is September 1, 2023. Please note that a $500 deposit is due with registration. You can now pay for training classes online.

This course is designed to teach the basics of refrigeration and electricity, heating, and air conditioning through lectures, discussions, instructive videos, Moodle training, PowerPoint lectures, and hands-on training.

Time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Cost: $1900

This course is designed to provide the necessary classroom time for application for Basic Electricity, including MA Electrical Code, hands-on instruction, and safety. This course is required to obtain the MA Refrigeration Technician License through the Department of Public Safety.

Start Date:  September 16, 2023 Days: Saturdays

Time: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm Cost: $1900

Time: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Cost: $1900

This course has been approved by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety and satisfies the requirement of 100 hours of continuing education as required by MGL Chapter 146, section 81-88. Course material will cover basic refrigeration theory, controls, refrigeration code,

and ASHRAE standards.

This 14-week course of Basic Essentials is designed for Engineers to understand an overview of building operations. Students will learn safety procedures, basic electricity with controls, boilers, piping, HVAC&R fundamentals, systems of operations, and preventative maintenance. Upon completion, each student will receive a Certificate for NFPA Hot Works and a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
